Herdem had the privilege of hosting the International Alliance of Practicing Lawyers (IAPL) board meeting 2023 in Istanbul, Turkey. This event brought together around 20 international lawyers from various countries, including the Cayman Islands, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. The meeting provided a platform for participants to discuss and share their insights on a range of legal issues affecting public law, policy, and governance. After the meeting, participants were treated to a legal tour of Istanbul, where they had the opportunity to explore the rich cultural and historical heritage of the city. The tour included visits to iconic landmarks such as the Istanbul Bar Association Building, Genoese Court Building Area among others. Overall, the IAPL board meeting was a huge success, and we were thrilled to have had the opportunity to host such a diverse and dynamic group of legal professionals in Istanbul.
